We just finished packaging up another fresh batch of our favorite Phenolic Serrada sticks.
The smaller length of the Serrada makes them super maneuverable, fast, and POWERFUL!
And the flush silicon inlay handle acts as a shock absorber because Phenolic is so damn hard. Without it, you get some reverberation that can really sting.
In case you are not familiar with Phenolic as a material, it is a composite that essentially takes fabric and combines it with a resin which is then subjected to high pressure and high temperature to solidify and cure, creating a damn hard composite material that will last a lifetime.
We then machine a 2mill inlay into the handle and heat up the Silicon to pull the sleeve into place. Definitely not the easiest process, but the extra effort is well worth it.
