Holy smokes, we did it, everyone! 1000 subscribers. I seriously can’t believe it. When I started this channel a year ago, I just wanted a place to share the stuff I love making. For most of my life, I kept my art kind of private because, honestly, I was worried about what people would think. Not anymore. Something clicked with me this past year. The more I feel the weight of life, the more I want to leave something behind for the world. I decided to let go of those fears of rejection and judgment and focus on creating - like releasing butterflies into the wild. Some might fly unnoticed, some might get smashed by distressed people, but others might land where they’re meant to. And the fact that so many of you are here, catching and appreciating those butterflies, means the world to me.
And here we are. A thousand of you. It’s f*cking wild! Thank you! I’ve been thinking about doing a face reveal but, no promises that I won’t scare you off, though! You can thank my camera shyness later. 😅 Seriously though, I want this space to feel welcoming, like everyone can be part of it. Your ideas and suggestions matter, because you all are what make this feel like a community, not just a channel.
I’m still new to all of this, so I apologize if I can’t reply to everyone. I’m juggling a thousand things, plus a day job, so it’s a bit chaotic. Most of what I do for this channel comes at the expense of my social life and sleep schedule, but hey, hopefully it’s worth it.
