I've watched him from start to present, he's doing an awesome job, with less experience in building, it's working.

I'm gearing up to do a "prototype" of your concept (8x18 on concrete piers) this spring in the hills of Central KY. It will have a limited but future full bathroom and a workshop. Then I'm going to take what I learned from that to make a 20x30 base house, and then add on. The prototype will become my solar, gen backup, catchment and cleaned water, propane, etc utility and storage building and full bath ultimately, but be the workshop till the new space done (be a year or two for sure!) I'd looked at rammed earth, hay bales, styro block systems, and so many more, but this concept resonated with me. Gonna do it.

@Sigurther

The place came out really nice. Could always add another room to the side opposite rhe bathroom, but I heard you were starting another cabin nearby. Should be fun!

I saw a video of a builder who put a small stove in his outhouse. I wonder when you add on if that will be an idea worth considering.
