Had this new one lined up, if not cheating, before the breakup, but when I look back, this is what he did with me - we were together for 7 yrs with 2 short breakups early on. Honestly don't think he ever healed from 1st marriage of 20+ yrs when she left him. Definitely doesn't want to be alone ( he told ME that when he divorced #2) We are neighbors so it complicates things. HONESTLY I don't want him back, relationship was not fulfilling though we had a lot in common and a lot of fun. Little intimacy and the sex for me was horrible but I loved him and didn't want to hurt him by breaking up. Funny huh? I have had a really hard time with all of it because I was losing my best friend. The new woman is very controlling and has impeded any friendship, then I " told him off" and am sure now that we will never speak again. Cutting all ties. Yes I regret how I handled that but is done and I am moving on. Has been a little over 3 months. He saw her the night he broke up with me and said he didn't know what he was looking for lol.
