Positive placement nailer is one of those tools that improves quality of life almost more than any other tool you can purchase. Recently grabbed the cordless 36v Metabo and I love it.

I use the Simpsons strong tie connector nail air powered gun. So much lighter than battery cordless solutions. I'll use coil gun for hoop iron, hanging brackets and plaster ceiling grid but triple grips and joist hangers really need connector nails.

Honestly I use a hammer, but that's because we do mostly hardwood and need to pre-drill the holes and it ends up neater for what we do.

Never used one but have seen them around, what about the Milwaukee palm nailer? You should do a review on it

Simpson nailer but a ppn would be much better because it’s way quieter and don’t have to run an airline

The nail gun is obviously faster and easier , but it's extra kit and expense. I don't do that much where I use them , so it's an expense I don't need .
