@robertlefeaux

That animatronic sawing one may be the creepiest thing I've seen all year.

I love the 2nd picture. It's so cute. Using a leaf as an umbrella. I love it.

There are many animals that have high intelligence, such as chimpanzees, crows, ravens, and dolphins. But what really sets orangutans apart, is their cognitive ability, to understand the ‘why’, or reasoning behind a certain action, and the fact that they share over 97% of their DNA with humans. Sekitar 30 tahun yang lalu di kampung kami di hutannya masih banyak orangutan dan hewan-hewan endemik namun sekarang semuanya tinggal cerita karena keserakahan manusia dan perkebunan kelapa sawit..

I still fail to understand why humans are so amazed when animals show little signs of cognitive intelligence. These animals are here in this world since we are, they are living, surviving and thriving in jungles protecting themselves from predators and nature, which may not be possible if they were not perceptive and intelligent beings.

Humans are the smartest animals. People seem to forget, we aren’t separate from the animal kingdom.

One orangutan named Fu Manchu constantly broke out of his zoo cage by picking the lock with a metal wire he hid under his cheek pouch.

Ken Allen from SD Zoo, he was the master escape artist. Every time you would think about it you turn on the TV and he’d broken out of his enclosure

Orcas have such a complex language system that scientists consider them having accents amongst themselves, and are known to cut the livers of sharks so precise that they’ve compared it to surgical precision. Dolphins which are in the same family have been known to kill themselves in harsh environments like when they’re captives at sea world. I’d say they take the top spot
