For those who don't understand, basically all over the internet Bobette has been talked down to by the community making false and obvious lies about her, the stuff I've watched has mainly been on Reddit, but one of the posts I went to was actually very harmful in a way that isn't very suitable for a kids game. I won't go into detail but the post went on about how Bobette did very harmful and criminalistic crimes. Yet again, not being suitable for a community that's mostly filled with CHILDREN. Sure it's a joke, but if it's gonna be a joke then make it funny, not something that's very sensitive to the games community and creators. Not to mention the character herself. Edit 1 (I'm not sure if there'll be more): These accusations were left to be light hearted and taken as jokes, until for no reason people started to call Bobette a word that would probably get this comment deleted, it's explained more in the link provided by Multicolour.

For those who don't know, basically people started making memes of Bobette commiting crimes. The memes were funny at a time, when they were only a variant of the "I have 70 children in my basement" memes, however, things quickly escalated when people accused Bobbette of being the new RoxSerpent/SoulDrivenLove.
