A word God laid on my heart this morning, I pray it blesses you đ
âTo you, it seems insignificant, but to me, everything is different now.â
The enemy loves to whisper that what youâve done doesnât matter. He tries to downplay your growth through the comments of others, through intrusive thoughts, or even through self-doubt. But God calls us to focus on what is good. We should recognize even the smallest step as a sign of His Spirit at work in us!
Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:8: âFinally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable; if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things.â
What looks âinsignificantâ to someone else actually shows that youâve changed. You are not who you once were. Godâs hand is upon you. Heaven rejoices over one step forward in obedience, even if earth barely notices (Luke 15:10).
God gave me the analogy that this process feels like standing in the rain. Itâs inconvenient. It drenches you, makes your clothes heavy, makes your hair fall in your face, and makes you want to seek shelter. But perspective changes everything. What the enemy sees as discomfort, God reveals as cleansing. Those drops are not random; they are deliverance pouring over you.
Isaiah 55:10-11 says: âAs the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.â
If you close your eyes and let the rain wash over you, it cools your skin. Your hair no longer blinds you. And when the storm passes, fresh clothes always await.
Itâs uncomfortable, but it is holy. It is change. It is proof of His closeness!!
I came here to encourage whoever this is for, not to let ANYONE downplay what God has started in you. Not OTHERS, not even YOURSELF. What seems small to them is monumental to heaven. The clouds that cover you arenât there to weigh you down; they are breaking open to release newness, renewal, and FREEDOM! đ¤ď¸
âBeing confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.â âPhilippians 1:6
