It could be that people are moving away from heavily commercial streams where the incessant push for memberships and purchases detracts from the enjoyment of the actual aviation footage. This could be a valid reason why your viewer numbers are increasing and others are falling Simon. You have by far THE best live stream at Manchester and it’s very enjoyable to watch. Keep doing what you are doing.

You're a high quality channel Simon and those numbers are mighty impressive. I applaud your diligence - there are in my humble perception, rightly or wrongly a number of odd things out there in YT land that YT don't seem to be on top of ATM. Aviation live stream fans will have their own views on that. Well done for policing your corner and digging into it. Not everyone would do that.

Simon, whilst I can appreciate your concerns I think it's down to a general increase in the interest shown towards aviation but, more importantly, the quality of your work and the way you interact with all of your viewers, not just the paying members like some other channels do . I completely stand with you, Mr. Simon! Personally, I don't respect the other channel because they show too much of their faces instead of the planes and constantly ask for money. I had been subscribed to them for quite a long time, but after their latest post, I unsubscribed immediately. That was definitely not a friendly move on their part. I'd be very surprised if it's anything other than your steam simply being found by many more happy watchers! I've always found it more suspicious that channels heading towards 2 million subscribers get only 2k live viewers during their show... about 0.1% of subscribers watching their streams. Your channel is all about the aviation and you deserve all the success! ✈️
