Aww! Brings back fond memories of grilling fajitas over an Old Smokey for my UT Law School housemates back in 1977-78.

I’ve been using them for over 30 years, I have some much more expensive smokers and grill. But I keep going back to the little Old Smoky. They just get results! Plus made in Texas. Love em!

Walmart had 22 inchers on sale a few years back, it was near the end of November but I got it for $20! Still works great to this day

I had one. Absolutely a great grill but it corroded away to rust in a few short years. I cleaned it out religiously. Kept it out of weather inside. Wiped it down every time. But it still fell apart.

I love my Old Smokey! The long legs make it a pleasure to cook on and the distance your chicken sits above the coals minimizes any flare-ups. My mon used to do brisket on ours when I was growing up. Now at 70, I am continuing the tradition! 😎👍 I bought mine at the plant where they're made a few years ago. It was so cool to visit i

Shout out Aguilars! Hey Arnie - while you're there, can you get their mustard marinade recipe - ? Those on the boneless chicken thighs are the bomb.

I’ve smoked many a brisket on the Old Smokey. Try to buy one from the original company that manufactured them in Houston several years ago and they only had an electric smoker that came close to this. They told me they no longer manufactured the Old Smokey. Wonder who’s building them now? No matter I’ll be ordering mine and hopefully they can ship it off to me. Thanks for the post.

My dad bought me my first one on my 13th birthday, I bet I've had over 20 of them. I'm 60 now!

That old Smokey looks like the size of a Weber 22. I remember being a kid and seeing the Lil Smokey’s in the hood with people cooking up hotdogs etc at the local park.

Been wanting to buy an Old Smokey Grill for a few years. Used to see comp cooks nabbing 1st place chicken calls all the time using these cool, light, and great cooking grills. So whats better than an Old Smokey Grill? Two Old Smokey grills haha. One for the house and one for my son Dan’s house in Austin. Already cooked up so dang good chicken halves and pork ribs. These cookers rock. I also love to support local so I bought these from Marco and Eddie at Aguilar’s Meat Market, thank you guys un chingos. BOOM!
