I am Japanese and live in Europe where getting Japanese products is often times not very easy, or it’s very expensive… your recipes are very simple, authentic and easy for me to try at home! Really appreciate it :)

My work has a bunch of unhealthy food and I get pestered to eat all the time. So your videos helped with portion size and healthy eating. Plus, my coworkers won't feed me food anymore now that I bring my own food.

Definitely of mix of these! My family has been on the hunt for more meatless recipes that are fairly easy, nutrious, and delicious. We also really enjoy trying new things and learning about other cultures' food and traditions. Plus, your videos are always presented in a calm, fun manner, so even when I'm not likely to make anything from that particular collection of recipes, I enjoy watching along. :)

My mom is Japanese Brazilian and grew up in a Japanese community and grew up on Japanese food, but she never made it for me. Growing up in rural USA, I got a lot of bad experiences for looking more Japanese. I want to learn more about the foods my mom, grandparents, and great-grandparents ate, but have no idea where to start. Thank you for your videos, many of them have now become staple lunches for me and I feel much better about my ancestry, which I've always struggled with

All of the above. I love your channel! Japanese cuisine always seemed so intimidating to prepare to me, but you show us how simple and delicious it is. There are no hard techniques that you should have to learn for years to master, and the ingredients are something someone living in a small country in Europe can find most of the time. I've tried almost all of your recipes and they are an instant win in my home, so thank you!

I picked interest in Japan and Japanese culture because I really liked how you explained the origin of Okonomiyaki. But the real answer is all the reasons you listen. And I like that the recipes you show aren't complicated or overwhelming.

I was a professional cook, and I fell in love with multiple aspects of the Japanese culture and flavor profiles in many Japanese dishes. Also, the overall healthier options available in Japanese cuisine is appealing, for example I am sensitive to garlic and found quite a few dishes in Japanese cuisine don't use it, unlike some other Asian dishes.

All of the above! I am especially interested in trying new cuisines and I am currently exploring Japanese culture and history. Food is a huge part of any country's culture, which explains all the differences between Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai foods.

My husband is Japanese and he lives with me in Germany. Your recipes are easy and fast to make so I can do it :) plus: you seem to live outside of Japan too, so you have the same ingredients available like me. I already made some nice bento thanks to your channel. Is I have a daughter and want to introduce her later to Japanese cuisine :) so I’m always happy to see new recipes on your channel! Thank you for making the world more delicious
