I remember this hunter guy talking about mix and matching different patterns with his gear (not like this image of course). Being fully covered in one camo does create a single silhouette of a human. Breaking that one pattern up with other patterns (that also match the environment) will help break that human silhouette up. But by no means am I an expert on this stuff so maybe it's all bs.
