Just a message from yours truly - been a while since the whole staying/leaving-uploading/disappearing cycle started for me, so this is just to set the record straight. With all the things happening in my private life/personal time and YouTube as a platform itself, I set my mind on what it is that I want to do with the channel in general.
I realize that the golden days of The Garbodors are over and I will forever cherish the memes that we were able to inject into the Pokemon community, with the best example of course being Oran Berry Blissey (this post and the threads in it always bring a tear to my eye: www.reddit.com/r/PokemonUnite/comments/vwpdr6/a_ne…. Yet, as the great words of Neil Young state, "it's better to burn out, than it is to fade". I won't be trying to chase the big game anymore - the views, the likes, the subs, or the revenue. I'll leave that kind of jazz to those individuals who are willing to dedicate their lives to grind that stuff.
Instead, I'd like to offer you something else - something that maybe some of you can still remember. Something akin to the "times when we all just vibed on YouTube". I'll be playing a game from time to time without any other agenda, than just to play it - no challenges, extra rules, red arrows in thumbnails, edits, etc. It's going to be you, myself and a game we know and love, just chilling and, hopefully, enjoying the time. Call it Chill-thrus, if you will.
I will not mind if they get 100 views each. I will not mind if you fall asleep to them. I will simply post videos that I want to record, and how I want to record them. If you think that it's not worth your time, that is more than fine with me. That being said, I'll start this off this Wednesday with a game that started it all for me - Pokemon Ruby Version.
To close my tedtalk off, here's a picture of my latest purchase I acquired while on a Toy Fair - wasn't exactly cheap, but I guess you know why I needed it. Cheers and take it easy!
