My ma called me today to tell me how proud she was of me. Cause despite how much I’ve been struggling and going through it, I am getting through it. She told me her best friends daughter just borrowed $1100 from her friend and her friend is pretty sure she’s on coke. She called just to tell me how proud she is and happy that I’m going down a better path, even if it is still rocky. Made me feel a little better about where I’m at, and same with this post. Shout out the ones doing it with their parent’s help too. I had homies who took their own lives over the years, even though they had good parents, and they still deserved all the support too. We just gotta remember while not everyone hurts the same, we all got pain of some kind. And we gotta be here for each other in general, but ofc especially with those who have it the hardest. Js sometimes it doesn’t show. In fact it seems usually it won’t show, that’s why everybody stay on “you gotta check on ya mans” bc it’s real, you won’t know unless you pry a little. I had no idea my bros were going through it like they were, specifically bc one of them had that support base and I never pried. Check on ya boys. Even the ones with good parents.
