Your thoughts on Marvel Thunderbolts*

---- Slight Spoiler Ahead ----

For me, it wasn’t just another superhero movie — it really touched on mental health in a way I didn’t see coming. I found myself connecting with Bob and the rest of the Thunderbolts more than I expected. Everyone’s carrying something, and it just reminded me how much we all need someone to lean on.

Maybe it hit me harder because I’ve felt that kind of loneliness too — and maybe some of you have as well. I’ll be honest, I teared up a little near the end. It felt raw, real, and surprisingly personal.

I loved the part where Bucky said “I’m Armed and Dangerousing it!” And Winter Soldier’d all over the place!

I like that it brings back the Mcu magic in the sense that it takes nobody characters and shows you why they're great characters in a great movie, like the Guardians of the Galaxy

I totally agree with you, I just saw it and it was the opposite of my expectations. I really was expecting another basic superhero group movie, but it was more about mental health and that was a big change in the mcu recently. I loved it.

Taskmaster against Sentry was MIND-BLOWING

Taskmaster had the best moment in the entire movie

The fact that they killed Taskmaster the way they did really left me wondering... Is this because the fans? Did they wanted to show a "anyone could die here" or they had to much on their plate to have another character on the movie? Because getting the character, putting it on every promotional and killing it just like THAT... Hope the "real" one appears later because that was one way to get rid of a villain.

Best Marvel movie in a LONG time. It was an amazing I literally almost cried at the parts with Sentry. The focus on my mental health is amazing

I thought it was a nice blend between being fun and profound. Though my one nitpick is that all the marketing kept hinting that Taskmaster was going to be part of the team when everyone could’ve guessed that wasn’t the case. If they’d removed her from all the promotional material then nothing would have changed

I really liked the deep exploration into taskmaster's character, I'm glad they let her breathe a little

I know people where upset that Bucky wasn’t the main character and we didn’t see his rooms of fear, but we already know what he’s been through, and he’s moved on from that stuff so it wouldn’t have bothered him as much, overall I loved the movie, some of the humor was cringy but once it’s over it’s chill

Yelena's and Bob's arc are some of my favorite depictions of depression in all media

I feel like in a few years time, hell maybe by the end of 2025, this may be some people's comfort movie. It felt really relatable with the mental health aspects. Even some of the stuff that probably wasn't fully meant to go with the mental health motif and more of a funny little gag, still really hit as a commentary on mental health. Such as Alexi rushing to toss stuff out and "freshen up" when Yelena showed to his apartment, a lot of those struggling with mental health problems are unfortunately like that. Bob's least traumatic/comfort room, being the place he hid as a kid, is horrifically relatable to a lot of people. I fully believe that Therapists, and those going thru mental health issues should watch this movie. I'd even say show this to someone who is in denial, it may help them realize that what they went through ain't good and theres others out there to help.

might be a hot take but i enjoy ts way more than D&W (the one i assume to be best of MCU Phase 5), it's realistic and more "human" sides. Thunderbolts used to be a bunch of villains having second chance, but this lineup, they are just isolated normal characters tryna reach their light

I really enjoyed it. Sentry was great, I really enjoyed Yelena having not seen Black Widow or any other shows this was my introduction to her character and I really liked her. The end credits was hype too.

I liked it and the message I’m a fight guy so I’m disappointed there was only three fights and one of them was sentry just dogging them but great movie

I was curious to see what happened to Yelena after the black widow movie and instead I enjoyed her father, the Red Guardian being an amazing comic relief! Good movie and decent plot!
