I used to drink coffee, not for energy, but rather because I enjoyed a strong Cuban café con leche. Never had an issue sleeping because of coffee either. I can drink an espresso before bed and sleep like the dead till my wake-up time.

I'm very guilty I eat stuff like Ezekiel bread and Swiss cheese and six eggs a day but I can't give up my energy drinks I wish that I could feel more awake but I really rely on my energy drinks and I feel guilty and I know the artificial sweeteners and the zero sugar and 400 mg of caffeine everyday is probably not good for me I just don't know what else to do I wish there was a natural stimulant or a natural stimulant blend that was safe and effective I don't know why I need energy drinks but I'm definitely addicted to them 😢
