Sorry about the long hiatus. I had to swap my work station and it disrupted things for a long time but I'm back on track as you may have noticed by the 25 videos I made last week. I am taking another break for a few weeks to get out of the Texas heat and head for the mountains starting Friday, but after that I should be continuing with regularly scheduled programming. That said, I'm going to solicit a little feedback as I move forward. So I hope whoever is reading this will participate.
First things first. For a long time I've feared remaking any tracks just because I wanted to grow my channel to the point where it had long-term sustainability. Now that I've achieved that, I want to focus on offering the best possible end product. For those reasons, I am embarking on a remastering journey. I am going to start with the pre-logo change tracks as many of them are nearly three years old at this point and don't reflect my current standards. While I was doing the very best I could at the time, I now see that many if not all had issues with both the sound and the sync. Some have little or no lead-in and none of them have titles cards. I will be slowly rebuilding those tracks for re-release while also introducing companion tracks at the same time to ensure the flow of new content
e.g Remaster HUM - Stars and make video for Why I Like Robins concurrently.
And this is where I need help. If there's a track that has significant issues with sync or sound, please let me know. I promise I won't take offense. It's certain that I did the best I could at the time, but there's a good chance that there has been significant improvement in both the AI separation models and my ability to sync and build songs in the interim. While I sing my own songs pretty frequently, there's over 800 of them. So some with issues escape my notice.
Please help! I'mdoingmypart.gif
Secondly, I want to know what songs I'm missing. At this point, I think a good number of you get what a Peareoke track is more or less even if it's a nebulous thing. If you can't find the track / band in this database and you want to see it get made, now is the time to speak up.
