Honestly, rebrand feels like a very strong word for a change that is essentially very minor. Ariah Mickae feels a little bit more authentically me, though, being a play on my middle name. One of the main reasons I made this decision is because I share a name with another very successful artist and I'd like to make myself a little bit easier to find and promote!
I'm now ariahmickae on all of my socials!
The only exception at the moment are streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, etc) where changing my artist name has proven much more complicated. For now, music will continue to be uploaded on the Ariah` spotify (expect a new release this week!), but I'll keep you updated on the situation as I decide what I'm going to do!
Now that I'm feeling happy and settled with this name, I'll be looking into getting a website together as well. 💜 I don't know what goes into that, so I'll probably be on the lookout for somebody who makes pretty websites. If anybody has any leads, feel free to let me know!
That's all I've got for now. Much music is in the works - one piece of music from Final Fantasy IX, some Clair Obscur arrangements, and more that I can't wait to eventually share with you! Thanks for the support, everyone!
