Congratulations! I must admit that most of my yt watching when you started were True Crime and politics. Then I took a flat pattern making class & another so I dipped into the sewing world on YT (more than how to sew french seams & single welt pockets). I did find one or two of your sewing videos in my sewing ideas folder. Politics got crazy and I needed a break from it and I discovered Canadian women restoring old homes! You were the 1st and still my favorite. I have gone back & watched a shit-ton of your crafting videos and was pretty mad YT wasn’t recommending them to me. The last 2 years have been hard health wise but especially this past year as my vision dimmed. It’s hard to work on a pattern when you can’t really see 1/8 inch. But just days ago I goy my 2nd cataract removed & soon I’ll be back to my sewing project ( it’s so nice to have yr 2nd channel while I cut out fabric or sew!). I still REALLY love your channel & save your videos for Saturday morning coffee! Congrats on 5 years. Covid time is so elastic as it seems not so long ago but years & years ago…

🎉CONGRATULATIONS🎉 on your 5th year! I haven’t been with you since the beginning, but somehow we found each other and I couldn’t be happier for both of us! You’re one of the hardest working people with many different interests AND talents. You see and enjoy the value of old things and reuse or reinvent them. I love how much you care for her, cloth, feed, create fainting couches… she’s the ONLY dog I’ve seen that is so multi linguistic and just always content. I truly admire that you live life your way You’re genuine and that’s a rarity that everyone should appreciate. I wish you good health, peace, joy, love and adventure as you create your slice of paradise

Although I haven't been around from the get go, I truly appreciate your integrity, honesty, and earnestness. Your house and home is coming along nicely. It takes a lot of brawn 💪💪💪 to do all the things in the meantime working away from home!!! I love y

Happy 5th Anniversary! I've been around since the OFMD robe tutorials, and have enjoyed watching your channel grow over the years. Thanks for keeping me company during Covid, the early baby years, and folding endless piles of laundry :)

Congratulations! I’m not quite sure when I found you but it was in your historical costuming days. I think it was actually Canelle’s Corgi Day Bed video that caught my attention and I stuck around for the thrifting and sewing fun. Loving the house renovations too!

Today, October 10th, marks 5 years since I uploaded my first video on the channel, so please enjoy some of my favourite photos from the topic of that video, Sherlock Hound 🐶🔎🐾
Thanks to all of you for equally making it possible, for watching the videos and starting interesting conversations in the comments... the channel wouldn't be around if nobody was watching, so a massive thank you to everyone for helping get the channel to where it is, and here's to another five! 🎂🥳
(and special thanks for those of you who've been with me since the early early days of historical costuming and sewing 🥰)
