@McCallContractKlimber

I’ve seen this happen so many times . Friends that are very good ppl , hardworking , loving , & very loyal . But their baby’s momma talks so much shit about them , always putting them down , using and abusing the father .. and of course the court system takes her side 9/10.. You’re such a good human being Mike .. Good topic and thank you for your service

Great read Mike. This is so prevalent today. Mothers using children in bargaining leverage, to soothe past traumas all over under the veil of being protective and love.

You're a real one Mike. My mother took me to court and completely fabricated an entire lie about me. I'm going through it right now and currently homeless. But hey, I'm making it work. Not giving up. I'm surviving and I got severe trauma + PTSD. You're survival and EDC videos mean everything to me. Bless you, brother, and thank you for your service.

That picture says it all. Wow. I have been thru a similar situation as you but years ago. Now my oldest boy is 21 and doing well but devouring mothers come with residual issues. Went thru the courts over the years. The final court session I represented myself. Stayed calm, presented only facts, even was sent to a family therapist with my son from the judge. The therapist after 4 sessions stated that she could no longer see us, those words broke my heart. Except for the next sentence. “It’s unethical for me to continue to see you as there is people that truly need my help”. She stated I was a great dad and was writing the Judge a letter. I then got custody from 50/50 to 5 days a week and his smothering and narcissistic mother only had him on weekends. Grades went right up from Ds to As and Bs. I had so many hoops to jump thru and after a year and a half of courts, the judge was right. She asked me to be very patient and it will all work it. The court system was so slow and pathetic, the states employees (cos) were also pathetic and had no child raising experience. In the end, I learned so much. Never date and or partner up with a narcissist. I had no clue at the time even what that was until the therapist explained what I was dealing with in regards to his mother. Hang tough bro and be like water…. Christ is King.

This needs more Awareness, its far more detrimental on our society than people realize and is easy to overlook if you haven't experienced it. The Laws governing paternity are seriously out dated and don't take into account the current mental health crisis our countries women are experiencing and the long list of ramifications resulting from it. I could go on about it in great detail but good on you Mike G. for putting this spotlight on it!

On the manpack topic, as just a filthy casual radio nerd whos brow beat all of his friends into spending money. Id like to mention a test we did of manpack vs ht... We like to stretch the limits of VHF across Los Angeles county because the simplex freqs are pretty open and if you get the antennaz up high, the terrain here is relatively flat across rooftops. We tested at the limits of distance we had previously established for our terrain (about 16miles), and recorded the receive strength through a 25' discone antenna from two identical transmissions. First transmission recieved through a yaesu ft65 (handheld) which came is staticy and barely understandable... like 3-2 or 2-2, when that same transmission was sent, but the yaesu ftm6000 manpack was hooked up, it was crystal clear, like cellphone call quality. Only variable that changed was which radio processed the recieve audio. The guts of the manpack, at least in this case made for game changing clarity which also translates to us likely being able to even further extend our comms range with the manpacks; everything else being the same.

Going and went through it with a woman who believes her Gurkha ancestry is reason to behave like that, while she'll never get to experience how 1 tap or kick would have been enough to stop her rants and getting physical, albeit for a considerable time. I simply refused to do it, but I also was perplex in experiencing it. Totally useless behavior and completely in shock still that this was her idea of early (or any stage) motherhood.

Just read it, short and to the point. I have a mother like that, unfortunately. She's done a lot of damage to the family.

I posted on your friend's channels about what happened to me. The system is clearly biased. If she is taking you through the system...good luck. I was criminally charged for something I never did. The court appointed visitation coordinator even testified the same. Was still convicted and had to spend thousands to appeal.

@Way2aggressive

Make your character of that which cannot be questioned. Stay strong. Intelligent and dangerous > weak and incapable..

@Lulee1277

I believe that the supposed bias of the courts towards mothers tends to not bear out when fathers have legal representation...

This is so prevalent today with the new generation growing up. Kids don't want to get a driver license, they don't get jobs as teens, they don't move out of their parent's house. And what does the mom say? She's glad that they are home. And I'm describing my step mother-in-law to a T and her adult kids who do not have the capability to live in their own and are still at home.
