DID THE EVENTS OF LOST HAPPEN ON THE CURSED ISLAND OF MADAGASCAR!?!???

Alright, you asked for it. May Mort have mercy upon you... Was the entire timeline of Lost dictated by a paradox where the past, present, and future were simultaneously influencing each other? We know Lost plays with time travel, fate, and quantum entanglement, but what if the show’s entire narrative wasn’t just nonlinear—it was a self-sustaining time loop where cause and effect were constantly rewriting each other? For example: • The Incident in 1977 (where the bomb goes off) seemingly creates the very timeline that leads to Oceanic 815 crashing in 2004—yet the people who set it off were only there because the plane crashed in the first place. • The Man in Black needed a loophole to kill Jacob, but that loophole only existed because of events Jacob set in motion long before. • Desmond becomes “special” due to electromagnetic exposure, but what if he was always special and caused the events that led to his own importance? • The flash-sideways world seemed like an afterlife, but what if it was actually a future timeline so disconnected from reality that it bled into their past and dictated their choices subconsciously? If Lost operated under a quantum reality where time didn’t move forward or backward but collapsed in on itself, then every decision made was both predetermined and completely free—a paradox so complex that it could only be understood by something outside of time itself. So, the real question is: Did the characters ever actually have free will, or were they just caught in an infinitely looping reality where every outcome was already decided by events that hadn’t happened yet?

On a serious note there was weird episode in season 2 where Charlie gets weird visions. He ends up trying to baptise Aeron in this episode because of them. The show never explain's what this.

At what point, if any, do the separate timelines converge, and just how much of the island is the afterlife

Is Mort involved in some convoluted, most out of left field, but totally believable within the possible explanations way? (I'm being serious, I would love it if somehow that's possible)

Why did Charlie unnecessarily sacrifice himself? If you rewatch the scene there was no need for him to close the door and drown

This isn't exactly a mystery, but I think it's funny. So Ben knows that he has cancer and needs surgery. Fortunatly he has a great surgeon working for him Ethan. So what does Ben do? He sends Ethan to go on a risky infultration mission that ends up getting him killed. Great idea Ben
