I take it as all the beautiful, good things we see in others, and/or another person, we have within ourselves as well. Otherwise, would we be able to recognize it? We can't recognize what we don't know. But we have to go within and find our own truth, and sit in it, before we recognize it in someone else, too. Which is why it's subtle, not easily recognized.

I read once that if you see someone's or something about them is beautiful, it's also in you or you wouldn't be able to see it. Beautiful nature scenes reflect your own beauty as well.
