Poool

Hello, last poll I promise.
TL;DR
Prefer stylized hand/keyframe 3D animations or human-like motion capture 3D animations?

You enlightened me about AI voices in the last post, so there will be no more AI voices on this channel going forward.
Okay, this poll is more for my pure curiosity, but it's also for me to get to know you more. As many of you already know, "Return Trip" was not only my first video in six years of this post, but was also my first dabble in motion capture. But, just like the previous two polls, "A Casual Shift" has some negative comments about motion capture.

I'll admit, it's still a very new medium for me, I've never had any physical motion capture experience before. It's just me in my tiny office flapping my arms and legs around, (and spinning while falling over sometimes). The jittering artifacts you noticed so far is simply my inexperience in this style of animation, not the motion capture in general. But I hope to improve upon that in the next project.
Mocap does save me a lot of time for simple human-like movements, but it's not like it instantly takes away all the challenge of animation in general, as I am very limited on space. Raw mocap in the animation industry needs to be edited heavily, and 99.9969% of the time, raw mocap will never be approved as a final pass. I would even argue that it sometimes can take even longer than hand animation.
But I also understand how some prefer the classic keyframe/hand animation. It gives more room for style and uniqueness, at the cost of being a lot more work. (and no physical accidents lol)
For quick reference, all of my videos before "Return Trip" were hand animated. "Return Trip", the Bad Apple crossover and "A Casual Shift" were done in motion capture.

Thank you for all your feedback on all these polls 100%. Like last month, I will post a WIP of the next project in the next coming weeks or so.
