I don't really understand why anyone would buy it unless they are teaching their kids D&D. It seems like it's basically the board game version of D&D that you play at once and you're done. As soon as you start advancing the characters would be discarding the pretty pieces of cardboard that are the most attractive part of the box.

Are we talking about running the actual box set, specifically…. with the premades, character cards, equipment slots, and all the stuff geared specifically towards teaching new players how to play *D&D?… in a different system?
