Meet Firas, he shared some of his advice and experience with me in battling agoraphobia.

Joining a support group for mental health issues had a positive effect on him.

"...It affected me in a positive way,they arrange outings now and then.”

“...It feels great when you feel free and understood by people who are in the same struggle.”

It also brought out confidence within himself, as Firas was able to not only recieve support, but support others too!

”And me myself is a positive addition to them, by being the most supportive positive person and make them laugh”

I asked if Firas had any advice for others struggling with anxiety or agoraphobia, and he told me:

”Just be patient with your exposure therapy exercises, it works!”

”If you take meds, try as much as you can to be committed to taking them as prescribed by your doctor.”

I wish Firas continued success on his journey, and I hope that this can inspire some of you who may be struggling!
