Petite Dressing

Style isn’t about height—it’s about strategy. I'm 5'2"- Same sweater with the same pants; let's break down why it doesn't work BEFORE and why it works AFTER.

❌ Don't wear a relaxed sweater with leather pants paired with ankle booties
❌ This looks bottom heavy- never flattering for petites
✅ Do wear leather pants with pointy-toe shoes that show some skin
✅ Showing your ankle creates the illusion of height

@ItsMeHello555

You’ve given me such great insight on how to look and feel better! This stuff though, is not your best. Women don’t/can’t always wear stilettos to the market to grab cat litter. Or to the playground with children. Even for a brunch with certain friends. You look out of place, like you’re trying too hard, or you’d be uncomfortable. These should be styled the same. Bag in both, posed same. And ideas for alternate footwear. Thank you for the effort put into these videos though. I know it must be time consuming.

Ok. I think I need a definition here to know if I should consider myself a petite. I'm an overweight 5.2 woman with wide shoulders or back, short neck round face, and lost all my shape, I no longer have curves, im like a triangle meets rectangle kind of shape, I do know this much... V necklines are my friends, but I like halters too. I'm losing weight, and I know all will shrink, but I need to find the styles that suit me better so I can dress better and know what to avoid. Could you please define this petite concept? Thank you!

I’m not wearing heels in the snow/ice. I’ll be looking bottom heavy. 😊

I think it's good but even better = 2nd pic shirt styling with belt plus 1st look black pants, black shoes, no broken lines from waist down. nude shoes make a person look barefoot. Cutting off the pants with those bare feet/nude shoes makes legs look short and your legs look much longer in pic 1. Just an opinion though

Silliest idea ever. Ok if you FEEL it. Otherwise it’s the same outfit and no one will notice.

@mariev3797

In the second outfit, the heels of the shoes add height but the bottom of the pants cut the ankle

But you are looking taller in the first pic.

What was wrong with the black shoes?

It's approx 13 degrees in NJ. Wearing those shoes, we'd land on the ice or get frostnip. Please make more practical solutions, Chi.
