Hey Everyone, sometimes, I like to write fan fiction for fun. Although I was not a huge fan of the "Sex and the City" tv series, I do like future sci-fi shows and I was thinking that, it would be funny to imagine what dating would look like in the future, in the year 3000. So this TV series spinoff would be like "Sex and the City" meets "Back to the Future", and I guess a good title would be something like "Sex and the City 3000", I hope that we are all still around to see year 3000, but lets make this a funny series and not a dark dystopian sci-fi series. What will dating be like in the year 3000, we have 4 new characters/ladies.... 1st- a Cyborg, shes kind of like the main character, but its really supposed to be an ensemble of 4 ladies, Cyborg Carrie, for example, she, as a cyborg robot, is super logical, and for this reason, every guy she dates is more neurotic than she is. She does also date other cyborgs. 2nd - A Genetically Enhanced woman who is like a super-soldier, who is very awkward on dates, and also, guys are afraid of her.
3- A genetically enhanced Psychic, who has trouble dating because she knows what every guy is going to do for her more or less, her psychic powers tell her in advance which guys are going to cheat on her.
4 - a clone of Nikki Glaser, I think Nikki Glaser is a funny female comedian, and she would be perfect for a comedy-future-sci-fi dating show like this, Sex and the City, 3000. And Nikki Glaser has quite raunchy humor as a comedian, you probably saw her in the Comedy Central Roast of Tom Brady. So basically in the TV series, she would be a clone of the original Nikki Glaser from Todays Time, but in the year 3000. So its basically, Nikki Glaser in the year 3000. But I would not make Nikki Glaser the main character of the series, because I think it would be more creatively challenging to make the main character a Cyborg, and also Nikki Glaser would be more of a comic relief. I wonder if its possible to get dating wisdom from a sci fi dating show of the future, which would also be cool because the tv series can employ "futurists" who are people who make predictions what the future will be like.
I am putting this idea in the Universe, and seeing what the Universe does with it. I honestly, dont have the time and energy to produce a tv series like this but I think it is an interesting idea, spinoff of Sex and the City, but instead would be Sex and the City 100 years approximately into the future, Sex and the City 3000, will people have true love in the year 3000 and what will this technological planet look like in the year 3000? I think it would be great to have a Sci-fi TV show that is more of a comedy and easier to watch, and fun to watch, as opposed to a scary dystopian future sci-fi show, so I hope if they do make a show spinoff like this, in the same way that Sex and the City was also more of a comedy, I think that Sex and the City 3000 would make a good comedy -sci-fi as well.
