I see YouTube is still shadowing comments; Social Media seems to dislike real conversations. Also, Comment Streams are often full of accusations, insults, name calling and vulgarity; this approach is really just valueless entertainment. One must go to 'Newest First' to capture the whole conversation and the longer the Stream the more complicated it becomes to stay involved.
