The results were actually closer than I thought, but in the end, NO sound effects won!
I saw a lot of people suggesting that I add SFX and upload an unlisted version with just the music. While that's not a bad idea, for various reasons (algorithm and otherwise) that would be harmful to my channel, not to mention the extra work that it would be to make two separate versions.
That said...I actually have a plan for something similar! I'm working on something that will allow me to offer high quality .wav versions of my remixes, free of Youtube's compression. It's not ready yet, but I'm working on it!
