I can’t believe it’s been a year!!! Funny story (it’s funny now, but not at the time) So I was so excited to get the cookbook! I preordered it and everything!! When I tell you I was excited… i was truly joyful! Ok so the cookbook came, I bet I made 30 meals out of it the first month… my family joked and teased me as I was always drinking my tea while reading the cookbook… So one day as I was cooking in the kitchen (I made a vegetable soup in the crock pot) and I had the beautiful cookbook in a cookbook holder that my husband bought me, on my counter (you can probably see where this is going 😬😐) I lifted the big crock pot of soup out of the crock pot….. we had all eaten and I was saving the leftovers…. I lifted it out of the crock pot electric part… I was moving to the sink to pour it in a container to put in the fridge… when I somehow slipped and spilled it all over my beautiful cookbook. I am not ashamed to say that I cried. Yes, I…. A grown woman sat in my kitchen and cried. It wasn’t saveable… it was gone… My husband and sons said nothing, they left the house right away, I didn’t even know where they were going??? … they went up to Powell’s bookstore and bought me a brand new one…. And when they brought it home to me, I cried again hahahaha!! So lesson learned. I’m not going to even drink tea around it anymore šŸ˜‚ā¤ Congratulations on all your cookbook success ā¤ļø

The best vegan cookbook there is! I'm recommending it to everyone who is enjoying my cooking (often from the recipes out of this book but especially also the techniques that made me more savvy in how to make tofu and all the approaches Nisha is describing and testing out) + is eager to explore plantbased cooking/living.

I love this cook book!!! When I first got it I read it from front to back like a novel! I’ve been watching you for a long time I was so proud to have a copy of your book! It sits in my kitchen as a display and I made it my goal to try a new recipe out of it once a week. My family is not vegan but we have fallen in love with each recipe we’ve already tried. My husband keeps saying ā€œyou should add this to your weekly rotation ā€œ for every new meal ! ā¤ every-time someone comes over I’ll tell them about your amazing cook book and how delicious the meals are from it. Just this morning I made your tofu scramble and my husband said ā€œthese are the most delicious eggs you’ve ever made!ā€ So glad I get to have a part of you in my kitchen- your very inspiring ā¤

It gave me so many ideas. I don’t know where to start. I keep your book underneath my tower desk so I can keep reading it. I noticed that my floor protecting office chairmat curled up in the front & put your book on the corner for 24 hours and it worked my chairmat is flat again.Thank you Nisha for being such a genius. I have been vegetarian since 1970 and never dreamed of the wonderful recipes you put together thank you for being such a wonderful vegan inspiration..
