🌟 These poems you write are so impactful that I must walk away after 1st reading to contemplate. Then I reread often & meditate for days until it sinks in as much as possible. Even then, being human, I need to refresh my perspective after that.

The Cross Crusader
Grace didn’t wait for you to be worthy.
Mercy didn’t ask for your résumé.
The Cross did not flicker because of your failures.
It burned for you anyway.
We live in a world obsessed with performance
but Christ breaks bread with the broken.
He calls the unqualified.
He strengthens the faint.
He ignites the ordinary.
Your past is not your prison.
Your weakness is not your identity.
Your mistakes are not your master.
If the Light of heaven could bleed for you,
then the darkness in you is not the end
only the beginning.
So rise.
Return.
Run toward the One who still shines through every shadow.
