Strictly Martial Arts

We've been getting a lot of messages asking why we haven't uploaded many videos in the last few months and the simple answer is... YouTube. With AI and newer content ID software we are getting copyright strikes for music almost every day, some for files that were uploaded 5 year ago. If you've been watching a Siam Warriors fight and half way the video is mute, that's because someone in Thailand said they own that part of the audio.

Some videos get blocked in Ireland because of a 5 second snippet of a song that the DJ plays before the bell of a round. Files have to be taken down, re edited, re uploaded so then it can be checked again by YouTube.

We are also getting legal emails from fighters who lost a bout and then decided they didn't want anyone to see their fight. We always appeal and 99% of the time win but we can't upload files for x days and when it's time to go again, another legal email comes in...

Some people report the videos for being 'too violent' or 'not suitable for kids' or any other reason. Again we have to appeal it and get the video restored.

We want all the videos up on YouTube for everyone to have access to but the process is slower and slower by the day.

Any suggestions, comments, rants, are welcome below.
