As as a recovering addict.. that has been a fan since the first song I heard! Congratulations bruh! Independent from cornfields in middle of country. To have come from nothing to lose... To connecting with the most most lost people.. What an achievement!

Doob I always believed in you and loved your sound since I've first heard it. I always checked on your new tracks for the last six and a half years. The music you put out is just too relatable and a lot of your tracks hit home. Keep on rocking. Peace out.

Doobie keeping it real since day one Always staying true to yourself. Your music is an inspiration to many hearts and souls. I use to listen to your music when I was feeling down 😔 but as time went on I listened more and through my own struggles with these tunes blaring I found a better path. Now every day is a blessing. I was homeless and lost before. I did drugs to cope and escape reality, till I no longer recognized myself. That was a past I persevered through. Fought for my future, moved up in my job, got my own place, been off the bad and now enjoying the good. Found someone to hold it down. Man keep spreading your music Doobie and always cherish the day one

My daughter passed and 5 months later her mother died from an intentional overdose. Losing both my girls caused me to lose myself. I'm jus starting to get clean and your music has helped me walk thru some serious dark places. Thank you bro for doing what you do. You a real one

Wow man, my kid turned me onto you a few years back and I absolutely love your music. I'm also from the Columbus and Pataskala area in Ohio and dabble in music somewhat, however, my addiction got in the way for me and my dreams of doing something with my voice got further and further away. Now I'm at a halfway house in Columbus scrolling through YouTube and I read this...you've got a great story man and your words are real, and meaningful to people like me. So thank you

Doobie 4 years I prayed u would get this recognition you truly deserve it . Funny "When the drugs don't work" was the 1st song of yours that I heard and I been hooked on your music ever since. My newest favorite of yours is the old me pit just gives me a whole vibe that I can't explain sometimes its almost as if you are singing directly from and to my soul. I wanna say CONGRATULATIONS YOU DESERVE IT YOUR MUSIPC IS ALMOST AS INSPIRING AS YOU ARE AS A PERSON!!! Never give up I love music with a message and yours most certainly sends me a message. Your proof that addicts will can and do recover no matter what if u want it its possible. I unfortunately wasn't blessed enough to make it to your tour which is so disheartening to me but I made a promise to myself that next tour ill be there. I love you and your music please don't ever stop making music and never change up or water yourself down to fit society or industry standards !!!

Doobie
So I've been taking much needed time to myself the last couple days... I've been doing a lot of reflecting on tour, music, and life..
The #SomewhatSoberTour ended in my hometown last Friday and you may or may not know.. I received my first Gold plaques as well as the news that I've also went Platinum for my songs "When The Drugs Don't Work" & "Nikki Sixx"... As an independent artist from Columbus, Ohio I know how HUGE this is not only for myself but for the city I come from!
I'm officially the very FIRST INDEPENDENT ARTIST from Columbus to achieve this goal and let me tell y'all I am still lost for words! For those of y'all who watched this journey from the very beginning and stuck by me all these years, I owe you everything! So many trials and tribulations came with chasing this dream but 1 day like this makes everything worth it... I wanted to give up so many times... especially as an Ex-drug addict, I never would've thought that I could make it this far and to see it is still truly unbelievable to me.
If @hylyte would've never found me in that studio on 225 Fairway blvd that day this would've never happened...
If y'all would've never streamed my music like you do/did, this would've never happened...
If y'all would've never went to work to spend your hard earned money on a ticket to my show, just to stand in a line outside in the freezing cold, just to see me perform time and time again, this would've never happened...
The truth is.. this isn't just a win for me...
This is for all my supporters... and Not only is this a win for ALL OF US, but we are all now a part of HISTORY!! I couldn't be more thankful to share this moment with all of you!
I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world. YALL MADE THIS POSSIBLE!!
If you ever feel like giving up, I want you to look at my story and know that DREAMS DO COME TRUE and no matter what situation your in, there's light at the end of the tunnel!
DONT EVER STOP CHASING YOUR DREAMS!
Thank you,
Doobie 🦇
