DO you think there is going to be a SEASON 2 for Fionna and cake?

@SamG431

I personally would really like a second season, where they tell us the wish Fionna made was for everyone to choose for themselves if they wanted to be magic or not so they live in a mixed world where all kinds of things go wrong!

I think a season 2 would be good to give Fionna and Cake a proper ending, the finale didn’t feel as impactful as Simon’s story so another season dedicated to Fionna and Cake would be good to get a good ending

Honestly, I just want to see more of Simon. That’s all

Maybe... like on one side we got told a complete story from start to end, on the other side it opened possibilities for more stories to tell, as we all know Fionna and cake IS a more mature series and with a setting closer to real life there are a lot of opportunities, not to mention series popularity can potentially sell a lot which is what anyone working on production of a series looks forward to.

While I also don’t think we need a second season, I do want and need to see other things be more expanded on, like the life of prismo how he became a wish master, or how Marcelina’s parents met, and especially full episodes on future Ooo but there are plenty of other things that they could flesh out

What Adam Muto said in an Interview - As for what the future will be for Simon, Fionna, Cake and all the other eccentric characters in Ooo, Muto said it might be a while before he even knows when they’ll return. However, he remains optimistic. “With streaming, they are less forthcoming with whether you get a green light for another season. Months or even a year can go by. … I’m hopeful, but it’s also kind of starting over whenever we turn over these new shows.”

I would LIKE there to be, but no. I don't see that happening. We're definitely still getting more Adventure Time related stuff though. I'd bet my soul on that

The story is pretty much wrapped up, I think they might make another spin off or mini series again but fionna and cake is definitely finished

While a 2nd season would be great news. I would also respect if the ones in charge of the show just left it as its own thing. It concludes itself pretty neatly and gave just a bit more world-building for the Adventure Time universe as a whole. But I do wish for a Shermy and Beth Adventure Time series in the future even though it's not that likely.

I didn’t grow up watching Adventure Time, but I do know that it had a good long run. It’s only fitting if it’s follow-up series got some more work.

I wish for a season 2 mostly because of what happened in the vampire world. The Vampire King did see the group leave that universe & was also mentioned that their world is running out of mortals for the vampires to feast on. Vampire King might learn of other universes & invade them. Kinda like what Marvel did when Zombies invaded other universes.

@RandomBakedCake

I could see them doing each season focusing on a different character arc that never got finished.

I actually would want to see a Simon show following him through the mushroom war, to the years of losing himself to the ice crown, to finding himself again after the fionna and cake show, to show his journey of accepting his past to moving on with his life.

@HarmonieM

It would be nice to have a season two, but I’m more than okay with the season we got.

@lividddd

i actually need another season 😭 but the final episode made me hopeless because of how it kinda means it's the end

@Reindeermuffs

A season 2 definitely needs to focus on cake. Hella underused and has room for a character arc

let me stay hopeful

@speedcircus

the album cover for the ost says “season one” on it so i think that’s pretty indicative that they plan on making another season

Simons story is complete. Fiona and Cakes was used to complete Simons Story, even though their story ending was a bit half arsed and rushed. Fiona learned to appreciate her multiverse. Its done

I think they all had satisfactory character arcs. If AT continues I'd rather they follow other characters
