Do you support athletes participating in the Enhanced Games, where performance-enhancing drugs banned by the International Olympic Committee are allowed?

@cherylmockotr

That entirely violates the purpose of sport, and sportsman's conduct. Not only does it promote unhealthy and dangerous practices, but the results of such competitions would be completely meaningless. The winner cannot claim to be superior in the sport because it was the drugs that won, not the athlete. Cheatois not winning!!

Performance enhancement Defeats the purpose of fair sports competition. & shouldn’t be encouraging the use of drugs period.

It kinda defeats the purpose for me. I feel more excited watching elite athletes reach the pinnacle of their human potential. I understand that performance enhancing drugs don't turn a regular person into an elite athlete, they're still elite athletes in their own right, but there's still something about it that leaves me feeling cheated, like I didn't just watch the real them...

We should not encourage the use of dangerous drugs for any reason. The effect is so far reaching.

I believe in the liberty to choose what gets inside your skin. And in that context, I have no basis to object to a competition between adults who choose to use performance enhancing drugs. I do worry about the influence and glamorization effect on others, especially youth, but that's equally true for alcohol etc etc. (Hmm... The Drunken Olympics, requiring a certain minimum blood alcohol level to complete, might make for some great TV.)

Why not have one with drugs and the other without (got to be tested ) First though??

@RYUShotokan

Yeah,why not. If they are all roided up then it's 100 percent fair 😂

A more accurate title would be 'The Assisted Games'. Encouraging substance use and abuse sends a terrible signal to society.

Yes I support it because some athletes are always going to use drugs or whatever else to enhance their performance. So let them have their own games and leave the Olympics etc to the non drug users.

They already exist lol most have good doctors and teams around them to not fail. Look at Inga beating Africans and setting WR's for fun 🤔. Coleman who runs 100m was popped not long ago. Usain bolt went from average to godspeed in a very short amount of time. Yet every WR holder before him was a drugs cheat. Somehow Bolt beat every doper and it will be another 30 years before anyone goes near 9.6's. the dope games just shows how the human body can surpass ones own ability by a mile

Id love to watch PED games. Lets not be naive though, the "normal" olympics arent exactly drug free. Look at sydney, one of the most drug riddled Olympics ever, and it was awesome.

I want to see the biggest, fastest, strongest possible. If they want to sacrafice their health, so be it. Bring it on. If you cant compete, get out of the way.!✌️
