I’m more concerned that Turkey will find some flimsy reason to invade sdf and screw over the Kurds again.

Well I hope this will work out for Syria but I’m not convinced

Praying for the safety of Alawites living in Latakia, Tartus, Homs and Hama. As well as for Greek Orthodox Christians, Armenian Apostolic Christians, Maronite Catholic Christians living in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Latakia. And Syriac Orthodox Christian living in Al-Hasakah province as well as in parts of Aleppo and Damascus. And finally for the Druze living in As-Suwayda province (also known as Jabal al-Druze or the Druze Mountain). Prayers for anyone who's unjustly oppressed by the transgressers.

It is good that all the political prisoners, stretching back 40 years, are getting released en masse and given the chance to return home, and the border's open again for aid groups to go in and identify people so their families can locate them. On Lebanese news they were celebrating NOT the political aspect, but the fact that there are now people they're interviewing in person right now whom everyone thought was dead 4 days ago. Whatever happens next is in God's hands, but I'm genuinely happy that there's a true ceasefire right now for civilians to reconnect.

Why can’t turkey reconcile with Kurds? Make them happy within turkey, make them happy or being Turkish while Kurdish at the same time instead of screwing them up again and again, which will only cause more unnecessary deaths and social unrest

Announcing free elections is already more than I expected, so I remain hopeful...

The only real hope I have is that Turkey has an active interest in peace on their southern border and they seemingly hold large sway over most factions, but they could just use that to take out the Kurds.

Sadly the SDF and the Kurds are cornered on all sides. It is very troubling that they will probably be massacred by Turkish forces

I believe the big powers agreed on this and Assad had no choice but to leave. This scenario is bad for all people in Syria, except the insane radicals.. Syria ceases to exist, unfortunately... I feel sorry for every good human being there, regardless of religion or ethnicity.. Turkey probably entered with the military.. Turkey plays dirty, as usual.. Of course, Russians and the US also play dirty.. and the dirtiest of all powers, Israel.. They benefited the most from this.. Iran's position is weakened drastically by these unfortunate events.

Updates...
STG: Syrian Transitional Government, most of the remaining Syrian forces that have toppled the Assad Dynasty have formed a transitional government with Mohammed al-Bashir, coming from the Syrian Salvation Government named as Prime Minister of Syria, replacing incumbent Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali, who had been Prime Minister under Assad from September to December of this year. President of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces stated that free elections would be established after an 18 month transitional period.
SNA, backed by Turkey, takes all of the territory of the SDF West of the Euphrates River near Manbij. The SFA expands it's territory. Whether free elections really will be held in 18 months is up to anyone's guess.
