Kirin are rare and mysterious figures in Noivessen history. They feature in various folktales and olden lore, and if they appear in a historical text, it’s likely a major event that changes the course of many lives is soon to follow.
It is said that Kirin used to be normal Psyquine who were chosen by a draken to be their servants and messengers.
Some claim that Kirin must drink of a dragon’s blood to gain their scales and horns. Others say Kirin eat a draken’s scale or simply recite a pledge.
In modern times, there are several well-known Kirin, but they tend to be solitary and appear rarely.
