Are we sick of the Oscars yet? (Yes) The drama has been wild. So be honest, are you interested in any of these? As in will you watch them because if you won't - I have plenty of other list ideas.

Did everyone else very easily read this in Marianna's voice?

@DugTheDog

I've got the bell on for you so whatever it is you upload, I'll watch. Now, gotta admit, Oscar rants from you are fantastic even though I couldn't give a toss about the actual Oscars lol!

the Oscars are meant to inspire and enrage in equal measure. I’ll definitely watch all of your Oscar stuff and I’ll probably stay up late on this side of the pond to see the ceremony to boot.

Have you looked at the Sight and Sound film polls that are done every ten years? Thousands of film critics, filmmakers, journalists, etc. vote for all-time great films in each poll. In the last poll in 2022, the top films were Jeanne Dielman, Vertigo, Citizen Kane, Tokyo Story, Mulholland Dr., Godfather, and many other great films.

I’m pissed that lily rose depp wasn’t nominated for best actress in a leading role for Nosferatu. Her acting was excellent

@nolaffinmatter

We already have the list of your favorite movies of last year, so we basically already know your “best picture” opinion. If you want to do an Oscar-related vid, I’d focus on the other categories: your favorite lead performance, your favorite supporting performance, your favorite score, your favorite costumes & production design, etc. But in general I think Oscar related content is redundant with year-end lists.

@sunnybear178

most people just care about the movies and hear the results later, the oscars don't really dictate who is the best movie anyway especially when people can have more say in the laziness of their picks through rankings and largely comment on the body's choices

i love both of these ideas!!

Please make video about Flow and how it should've gotten more nods at Oscars than just two. 🤲

@eyrahn

Honestly, I'm enjoying all the drama 🤭

@meropetied

Oscars matter; they've always been weird and political. I'm interested in both lists, but would probably like to hear your perspective on older films too, not just new stuff.

It’s not celebratory but the highest quality yearly movie rankings are the Indiewire Top 50 poll results, where they get well over 100 critics from all over to email in their top 10 movies of the year.

@WTDProductions

i usually try to watch all the nominees but i’m so disinterested this year, so if you made a ranking i might use that to pick one or two i still wanna watch

We may be few, but Oscar's fans are still here.

@farkasabel

I don't base what I watch and what I don't much on third opinions. I just watched Subservience and I liked it. (It is definitely better than M3gan)

I will wait until the results on your videos.
