North Korea is now providing up to 40% of Russia’s ammunition for the Ukraine war, according to South Korean military intelligence.
Pyongyang has sent around 28,000 containers filled with nearly 12 million artillery shells and other weapons to support Russia’s military operations. Kim Jong Un’s regime is also supplying ballistic missiles and artillery systems.
In return, Russia is giving North Korea financial aid and advanced technology. Ukrainian intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov confirmed the scale of this support, while experts warn that this alliance is strengthening Russia’s war effort by cutting costs and keeping public support strong.
