Every year " Major performance improvements while consuming way less power" Reality: 15/20% more performance and overheating 😅

Google has Arm Core's from 2023 (X4) - 2024 (A725), they could learn from MediaTek I used a translator, sorry if it's not very clear.

Hopefully Mediatek will give some serious competition to Snapdragon.

Many flagship smartphones are experiencing issues with "all big core" configuration chips. Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phones, for example, have been seen to suffer from heat issues, battery drain, and a drop in performance during extended use. It's believed that the Dimensity 9300 also has these issues. However, the Dimensity 9400 seems to be a more refined and mature chip, despite still having some throttling. It's considered to be quite efficient. There is hope that these "all big core" problems will be much better addressed with the Dimensity 9500. The main idea is that while a chip should offer high performance, efficiency is also crucial.

always the same claim, always the same heating & throttling. and snapdragon is no different too. nowadays consumers be getting portable hand heater.

If mediatek does not perform well in emulators then snapdragon will continue to monopolize the smartphone market.

Such a big let down. I thought it will match a19 pro performance but its not even close. A19 pro uses 12w of power and performs way better than d9500 which draws 17 watts of power and heats a lot.

MediaTek would never catch-up to SD because of their stubbornness when it comes to emulation.

Will it be better then the snapdragon is the question

The only reason I choose snapdragon is emulation, I play Zelda series, yuzu, winlator, game hub, will dimensity perform in these cases? And please do emulation test

It's official! The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 is using Arm's latest architecture design for both the core and the GPU, claiming major performance improvements while consuming way less power.
It'll be powering phones released by the end of this year 👀
