Well, I overall like it. Ecdysis is my favourite for sure, that song is amazing, really impressive. The only two that I don't like a lot are Souvenir and Departing the Body. Departing the Body is the weakest song of the album, the weakest closer they've ever had and is surpisingly boring and forgettable. But it doesn't feel too long and Chino hits the lowest pitches on record. Souvenir just feels weak in comparison to others, and also not that memorable, but it has its moments. Locked Club is good but just very solidly good. The singles are fire of course. Infinite Source is very nice and feels like a goodbye song actually. I hear something like last time being on the stage in the chorus(?). cXz is very solid too, really cachy. Cut Hands is something I didn't think they would do, very metal, lots of screams, dissonant chords, breakdown in the end, amazing chorus, all the good stuff. ~Metal Dream is very nice too, very creative, the verses I liked a lot, but the chorus clicked with me only after some time. I Think About You All the Time is not bad but not to my taste really, I think I will skip it a lot. To sum it up, the album is great, listenable for sure, mixing is weird though, too compressed, too electric, too quiet Chino. Especially the elctric part is what I like the least. What I love about their music is that it's raw, this is the least raw album they've ever done. Ngl, this I don't like. Overproduced for sure. But it doesn't ruin the whole fun. Anyway, still waiting for the Gift/Guest live video :) or at least the track list from that show.
