There may be other reviews already, but your content is unique and I think phenomenal! Looking forward to what you have to say on the matter. I love the original, the remake doesn’t exist to me.

Super excited for this. Actually quite hype news. I will say that Ive taken umbridge with a large community out there over the original movie. There is a claim out there that Lilo is neurodivergent/autistic and though there is a healthy amount in the movie to support this (her social struggles as well as Bubbles's insistence that she needs additional care, etc.), Ive always pushed back on the premise. I understand that representation of neurodivergent children is great for the community, its always felt like a condensed version of weirdness = autism, and I dont feel like thats fair to all us weird socially awkward folks out there. Or maybe Im autistic. Idk, really excited for the video regardless. Cheers, Key

I don't understand how anyone expected anything worthwhile from a Modern Disney Live Action Remake. The writing has been on the wall for the past decade....

I grew up only watching the tv series & then the third movie on dvd & that was alotta fun In my mid teens i finally saw the first movie & chocked up towards the end it was so great I feel like, with all the depressing negative stuff in the world, i could use a dive into a cozy childhood classic so Maybe I'll watch all the movies & tv episodes soon c:

I'd really like to hear your opinion and analysis of it, especially considering I have no intention of watching it myself.

Good luck with this project! I am looking forward to hearing your take on both original and the remake. If anything, the 2025 movie shows how well crafted the 2002 cartoon was in comparison. If you want some pointers for the original vs remake breakdown, I would highly recommend EFAP 342. It is 11 hours and no, they don't go in circles or start random tangents there. It is instead a detailed scene by scene deconstruction of both movies with direct comparisons and discussions around why the original works and the remake fails. The timestamps are in top comments (not description).

Greetings. I'm making a Lilo and Stitch video.
Yes, I know there are a ton of videos and impressions already, and this is a bit out of my style. And it'll probably fade out of the review-sphere when that pointless Dragon rehash arrives. But I feel compelled to say something because the original meant a lot to me personally.
Think of it this way, you're technically going to get an appreciation for the original at the same time. I doubt it'll be another 2+ hour chonker. Hopefully, it won't take several months to finish. Maybe.
In other news, I uploaded the original comment section from the NIMH video that got taken down. It's free for anyone to view on my patreon. I'm also going to try to update it with stuff I'm working on, because I've got a secret project in the works...
Ttyl.
