Finally getting a quiet moment at home in Los Angeles to process the end of The Body Never Lies tour, on what happens to be the 12 year anniversary of 6-08-10, the day we committed to the world of krewella, and abandoned school and our side hustles.
From our myspace days, to the Play Hard era, to the explosion of Get Wet, to our emo Ammunition EP and Sweatbox rage, to the “tbc” New World phase, to our sophomore album zer0, and most recent baby, The Body Never Lies: it has been a fucking pleasure meeting you, hugging you, evolving with you, chatting online with you, singing/screaming with you, moshing/dancing/headbanging together, and reading your letters throughout these 12+ years.
It has been a blessing to be there for you during your first heartbreak, bringing out the most confident version of yourself before you step into the hell-hole of high school, sending warm bass to your womb (for all those rave mamas out there), pulling you out of the depths of hopelessness, motivating you to get the fuck up and hit the gym, and giving you a good cry, or reason to celebrate life.
We see ourselves in so many of you- the sensitivities, the shyness, the spiritual, the urge to rage, the desire for a more meaningful life..
