Both Marshall and Rex will have their origin stories revealed. Marshall is so clumsy that sometimes it causes problems. He usually has it under control on a mission, but sometimes it still comes through. Sometimes, I imagine him having a nightmare where his clumsiness blows up a building and Chase arrests him. When Marshall wakes up he gets scared of messing up and of Chase. Chase would eventually comfort him.
