Depends what you mean by afterlife. I believe in the perpetuity of existence within the cosmos, not that there is a special realm where people 'go' after they die.

Raised a Christian but now practically atheist. There are some remnants of religiousness or faith in God in me on an emotional level but logically it doesn’t make any sense to me anymore. If someone argues that religion is not about logic but about faith and acceptance of a higher power then you’ve lost me. In the very odd chance that God exists I think that a reasonable god will give me a pass on the basis of still following most Christian core values and being an overall good person.
