Whoever said "it depends", must be hoping for a Social Security check for their daughter. 😆

If she's 18 and wants to marry a man that old, I can only give her motherly advice. Legally, there would be nothing I could do about it.

They wouldn't even treat their enemies like that. Thank God for the cameras. Thank you, Higher Power. You have shown them who you are once more.

She is an adult at 18 I can express my opinion but she is free to marry whoever she chooses. We don’t live their lives but as moms will always be there to support, help and heal our children.

No.He's lived his life she's just beginning hers.It won't last and when she divorce him she's gonna be looking for all the young men to behave like that old fart 👴

She's an adult. If it's a mistake she still young enough to learn from it. Especially if she's out of the house there's absolutely nothing apparent can do about it. It's not their life is hers.

In reality at 18 you can't "allow" because they are grown but that's when you hope and pray that your raising and teachings of that child take effect. I am certain in the situation with the pastor and the young lady that her family was likely behind that arrangement, too.

I would not be ok with it, and she would know exactly how I felt, but if she's 18, there wouldn't be anything I could do.

Would I allow my 18yr old, considered by law a young ADULT? I would suggest to my daughter to think beyond this moment, among other facts to consider.

At 18, the choice would soley be up to my adult child. I would express my disapproval most definitely.

I want my answer to be 'no' because no matter how much I try to talk her out of making such a terrible decision, due to her age I can't stop her.
