I thought the southern charm is what made it unique and the little candy shop in the front

This logo is consistent with the general slide of everything away from fun, interesting, and unique to dull, sterile, and corporate. This has been happening since the 80s when McDonald's buildings stopped having arches as part of the design.

The CEO should’ve concentrated on the drastically declining food quality and maybe replacing the sticky tables.

All it needed was to ensure better quality in the food they were already serving and a good cleaning.

I’m from the south. Southern hospitality is real. They want to get rid of it—fine…..good luck keeping your business going for another year.

New one is too plain. Old one looked old timey, and that's what the restaurant is all about. Old time food, Old time games, old time candy and nostalgia out front

The food/prices/service need improving not the building!!!

Old one looks like home style cooked food. New sign looks like it's a discount store

If they truly listened to their patrons instead of dismissing it, the whole part of their charm was that feeling of walking in there and seeing old photos and tools. It held true for generations to enjoy. If I walk into the nearest cracker barrel and see this type of change, it just won't be the same and I wouldn't enjoy going back. It would lose it's old fashioned feel. Please stop changing them, don't mess with a good thing.

Their marketing team, board of directors, and CEO all need to be FIRED. IMMEDIATELY

Who wastes 700m in today’s climate to do that? Awful management

I think it’s hilarious that the executives think that people who frequent Cracker Barrel would be open to CHANGE!! 😂

I do not understand why they make these big changes without getting an overall review on how the customers want to change and then have them rate the new ideas on the possible changes. This is a reminder that a lot of people do not like big changes.

At first blush, I don't care much either way. But when I read a bunch of the comments I have to agree. What it appears that the company is doing is removing the entire foundation from their product and then asking customers to feel like everything is all better without actually correcting the issues. Did they do no R & D? People will tell you what you need to know if you ask. This seems like nobody asked. Which is pretty dumb.

Just looking at the old one brings up a lot of memories! They got rid of the barrel and old man, and now it just looks like I'm looking at something boring and has no significant original touch to it.

When Democrats AND even MAGA both hate the same thing, you know you made a big boo boo

Every brand does this, the slow march towards homogeneity. I mean I can’t think of a major brand that doesn’t have a retired logo that’s more interesting than their current one.

TODAY
Modern changes coming to Cracker Barrel are not being met with Southern hospitality by loyal fans. The rebrand is part of a $700 million transformation that’s triggering a steep decline in its stock: https://youtu.be/Z141956OCDE
Which logo do you prefer?
