Tomorrow we continue talking about axles a bit, tapping Al Bosley for some perspective on axle design; but I took some time out to address the many comments which noted my mistakes (please DO point out my mistakes in the comments!) and critiqued my classic car driving. I should probably mention that I did have battered old 100,000+ 1970s cars as daily drivers back in my youth—as so many did back then! But your points were taken. Anyway, here's my short response.
