I kinda feel like these are the most legit "tough" Chelsea boots, which is a very hard category to nail. Unlike, say, loggers and moc toes, Chelsea boot's origins aren't as work boots; the first pair were walking boots for Queen Victoria.

So you don't often see *heritage*, *Chelsea*, *work* boots and when someone does try to make a really meaty, PNW-style Chelsea it just looks... weird. Square-peg-in-a-round-hole weird.

What's cool about the Chelsea from Colombia's Bordon is that it's not chunky — it still looks like a Chelsea boot, in other words — but they made it with ultra tough double row stitchdown construction and vegetable tanned Wickett and Craig leather.

These boots have a 9-month waitlist right now though, so, you know. Pretty god damn lame, but the price of $409 for stitchdown Wickett and Craig is a PRETTY compelling proposition even with the wait: ktku.co/ix

@RobMakowski

I'm sure the wait-list is going to be even longer now.

@strengthandbulkMadness

9 months wait time puts it in the Japanese category. Zerrows has a good one too but 6/7 months wait time.

@bladerealm124

What size would you recommend compared to Thursday captain, Parkhurst, grant stone? I'm a 9.5D in all of those. Are these only available in E width minimum?

@CorvetteTrev

Ok, I subbed just for this. Rabbit lining, I don't want then to be fur lined though 💁‍♂️ It's hard to know what to check off honestly. I'd like a wedge sole , think mechanic, pavement, comfort. Thank

I love the last shape on these, like high quality Blundstones. I wish the big toe was a little straighter, but the ball width looks very good. Sick of needle thin chelseas.

@loupblanc007

How does this compare to the Thursday chelsea black label?

@benjamingray4488

Do you have experience with this brand. I want a winter Chelsea that looks good and can handle wet grass in the park. This or Thursday rugged

Is that the Heatstraps jacket in the last pic on left? Green/black checkered jacket?
