Hey guys... Sooo, a few hours after I posted that Yayoi Kise appreciation community post, a huge crisis in my country happened.
A big electricity blackout happened in Spain and some more countries in Europe. At 12:32, west Europe time, our electricity suddenly blacked out completely, I was in math class and in one moment the lights quickly went out, we all thought that it was an issue of the classroom or the school itself, but then I got out of class and the people were saying that it was in all of Spain and Portugal and some parts of France and then my father picked me up and left me safely at home and there I had an analogical radio and with that I could gather information to try to understand what went wrong.
I was all afternoon with my family and the radio, playing card games, studying, drawing... All that could kill time, I was concerned for my family and friends (although some of them were on a trip to London, an unaffected area) Our data and phone battery was very little and very limited so we rationalized it. At 18:00, our president informed us through the transmission some context and how we should process it. It was said some moments later that the light was coming back in little places of the peninsula and eventually that number kept increasing. At 23:00 (11 pm) more or less, while we were playing Virus, it came back on my street and we were overjoyed and turned on the TV immediately, they were explaining that the light went from 15 kilobytes to 0 in SECONDS at 12:33 pm.
This experience was rather confusing and impressive, but I'm happy that everything went back to normal, I heard about people stuck in trains, busses and elevators who had to get help with the little communication they had and my heart goes out to them although by the time I'm writing this (21:40/9:40 pm, 29 of April) most of them already managed to get to their destinations.
